As Lake County’s community foundation, Legacy Foundation is supported by a broad base of individuals, families, and businesses connected by the desire to improve Lake County, Indiana.
With our growing portfolio of over 300 funds, Legacy Foundation acts as a center for charitable giving to Lake County communities. This means that we can support the arts, expand literacy, improve health, promote early and higher education, and support other meaningful causes in Lake County. In 2022, we awarded over $3.8 million in grants and scholarships to nonprofit organizations and students.
