Purpose

This fund provides support for Calumet College of Saint Joseph

Calumet College of St. Joseph is a four-year Catholic institution of higher learning that has served Northwest Indiana since 1951. We have long provided opportunities for at-risk and underserved students drawn from the region’s urban core.  Offering Master's, Bachelor's, and Associate's degrees, at Calumet College of St. Joseph, we believe that student success is linked to college affordability. To that end, CCSJ is committed to providing scholarships to students who might otherwise find it difficult to pursue their dreams of a college education.

The cost of an education at Calumet College of St. Joseph is very modest compared to that of other private colleges in our tri-state area. Nevertheless, we recognize that many students are in need of financial support. In fact, approximately 74% of our student body receives some form of financial aid and scholarship assistance.

Now more than ever, scholarships are of critical importance. The need and demand for financial aid continues to increase. Calumet College of St. Joseph needs your support so that we can continue to help students that might not otherwise be able to afford a college education.

Shifting Sands will explore the diverse ecosystem, journey through the epic history, illustrate the controversial economic and environmental struggles of the past and explore a new way of thinking about our natural world in tandem with our economy. The results of this journey are gathering unique partnerships and showing movement toward wide scale restoration and sustainability of this unique Great Lake Region.
