Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, Van Til / Bellamy Salute to Education Fund

The fund was established for two purposes:

1. To support scholarships for students from East Chicago and Hammond, Indiana, who are accepted into and attend the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership training.
2. To support sophmore students from East Chicago and Hammond, Indiana, who are attending a two- or four-year public or private institution of higher learning located in Lake County, Indiana.

The fund honors Cal Bellamy and Frank Van Til.
